南大生態體驗營隊 帶領偏鄉學童走進大自然

(中央社訊息服務20220725 14:50:23)國立臺南大學實踐在地深耕,透過教育部高教深耕計畫,執行「為偏鄉而教―打造七股教育補給站USR計畫」,該校生態暨環境資源學系於7月20至22日至臺南市七股區大文國小舉辦暑期生態體驗營隊,生態暨環境資源學系學生以寓教於樂的方式,帶領偏鄉小學學童學習生態及環境永續的相關知識。

本次營隊內容以手作教學結合環境教育,透過再生紙製作課程,以校園廢棄紙張為原料進行製作,讓學童學習再生紙的製造過程,並了解造紙業對森林樹木的影響,培養資源回收與再利用的環保意識。另外,葉脈書籤課程也深獲學童喜愛,先介紹植物的基本分類法,再引導學童以手作方式製作專屬的葉脈書籤,經由實作過程進一步了解植物型態。此外,還有昆蟲教學、音樂生態小教室、鳥類觀察、青蛙小學堂等一系列綠能與環境教育課程,讓學童體驗與學習課本以外的生態知識。

大文國小校長劉春男表示,非常感謝臺南大學「為偏鄉而教打造七股教育補給站USR計畫」,以及生態暨環境資源學系主任王一匡教授帶領的學生團隊,幫助學童在課業輔導及多元智能及才藝的培養,也讓學童們有更豐富的童年。

南大表示,希望透過人才培育以及與在地之連結,讓大學不只是培育高等教育人才,更可以了解地方發展的脈絡,理解地方問題,進而提出可能的創新解決對策,並鼓勵大學生一起參與,讓大學發揮社會正向影響力,與地方共生共榮、永續發展。
