I first had this coffee while staying on a houseboat. We were scouring the cabinets, looking for coffee to make in the pot, and came across packages of G7. We thought instant coffee would be better than nothing, so boiled some water and tried it. I'm so glad I did! I love this coffee. As a matter of fact, it's all I've been drinking ever since. In addition to how good it tastes, G7 is handy to pack with you on any sort of trip.

yes, as some folks have need, it can smell a bit skunky when you open the packets--that's a feature of some Vietnamese coffees, I forget why, but there's a reason. however, that whiff of skunk disappears when you add the hot water--and then it's just divine! I have tried to wean myself off this stuff and just can't replicate anything like it.
